Gozo is the best destination for those who want rest and plunge into the beauty of nature.

4. Blue Grotto

If you are daring enough then, do not miss to go to Blue Grotto. Located on the southern part of Malta, this is a network of caves on the coast, with beautiful blue sea in front of them. You can take a boat in order to take a closer look at the caves and admire the marvelous rocks in it. Warning, the Blue Grotto is a paradise for photographers !

5. The Three Cities

Embark onto an historical tour and explore the three cities of Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua with fortifications. These beautiful medieval RESORTS provide outsiders with a glimpse of what old town MALTA is like with the networks of narrow streets, old houses, and advanced systems of fortification. At the Grand Harbour Marina, walk around, get to know more about the Inquisitor’s Palace, watch as the Cannons fire during the historical recreations. The Three Cities are an undiscovered gem for Malta.

6. Comino and the Blue Lagoon

For paradise, Comino and Blue Lagoon should be at the top of the list when it comes to the people’s choice. This small island is best for those who like watching wildlife and other natural beauty as well as beach lovers. Sunbathe on the clean sandy beach and swim in the amazingly clear sea – it will be in the Blue Lagoon. There are no cars allowed on the Island of Comino which was a plus for us to get to travel to its shores and get that slice of peace.

7. Marsaxlokk

No trip to Malta is complete with out getting a fee of the magic of Marsaxlokk. This fishing village is well known for the ‘Luzzu’ fishing boats and its provides an inside view to the realistic Maltese life. Take a walk through the oceanside boulevard, visit the bustling fish market and taste super fresh fish champagne in the coastal cafés. There is the Sunday market especially famous for souvenirs, be sure to not miss this opportunity.
